Foundations Series with Michelle Kaiser  Wednesdays at 7pm-8:15pm  May 1- June 5th

Learn the tools for a lifelong yoga practice including pranayama, asana and meditation to inspire a deeper connection with self and others. This class is optimal for students with little or no background in yoga, and also those who wish to deepen their knowledge of alignment and structural details within the postures. A soft, gentle and kind approach to introduce and further your practice will be the intention with each week having its own theme.
Week One: Grounding, Intent, Pulsation & Breath
Week Two: Cow/Cat Tilt and Pelvic Alignment
Week Three: Shoulders and Upper Body
Week Four: Lower Body
Week Five: Refinements
Week Six: Full on!!!
If you need to miss a class, we will do our best to inform you as to the yoga topics that you missed so that you will be prepared for the next class. Please keep in mind that it is challenging to actually “make-up” classes; therefore if you do not show up to class you will lose the missed class.
Class size will be limited to 14.
Preregistration cost six week series $60 before April 24th / $65 beginning April 25th.

Prior series participants (Yoga 101/Flow Yoga 101/Yoga Alignment 101) preregistration $55 before April 24th / $60 beginning April 25th.

Step Out of the Heat and Into the Flow

A Cool & Stress Less Flow Yoga with AnnMarie Mello-Morris

Six-week Course Wednesdays 7:00-8:30pm       Starting July 10th -Aug 14th

Step Out of the Heat and Into the Flow is an uplifting, heart inspiring and “just for you” practice held at studio temperature. The seasonal heat and also life-heated stressors could be getting in the way of your own life fulfillment. The following are topics addressed during the course that will assist with your own life practice on and off the mat:

Stress Less & Increase Happiness: Connect with the flow, and other effective techniques that have been researched in the study of happiness

The Five Elements of Nature on the Mat: Use the elements of earth, water, fire, air, and ether as a tool to create nature’s balance in each pose and practice

Pranayama: Integrate the use of prana (life force or breath) exercises to create immediate increase in body strength, flexibility and positivity.

All levels are welcome; however some yoga exposure will be helpful. Join our series that promotes community connection and support between participants and the teacher. Yoga Nidra with Mark Hunsicker…1st & 3rd Saturday each month  12pm-1pm

Come join Mark Hunsicker as he guides you through a Yoga Nidra practice designed to bring forth a deep sense of peace and renewal.  This 1-hour class will consist of finding yourself in a supported resting pose, where your only requirement is to let go to the sounds of music and voice. You will be guided through a progressive relaxation, allowing your body/mind/spirit to reach deep states of rejuvenation.  Hope to see you there!  $10

Restorative Yoga with Christy Mickle…2nd & 4th Saturday of every month  3pm-4:30pm

Restorative Yoga is about learning to relax deeply, residing in stillness, reflection and introspection. In this practice we use blankets, bolsters, cushions, pillows and blocks to completely support the body in restful postures, encouraging the body to relax, open, renew and heal. As the body releases deeply, the mind grows quiet and reflective, bringing your whole being into a more balanced, natural healing state.Restorative yoga is useful when you are fatigued, stressed from daily activities, experiencing major life change events, suffering from stress, cancer, menopause, injury, depression or other challenges or in perfect health but desiring more energy and better and more restful sleep. Restorative yoga is known to improve health, lower blood pressure and cholesterol, improve, sleep and ease anxiety ,stimulate metabolism and boost the immune system, and reduce stress (which is known to be a major contributing factor in over 95% of illness).
