Michelle Kaiser

My heart is filled with gratitude as our community continues to “breath, reach and evolve.”  It is one of my life’s greatest delights to share my practice with all the smiling faces that enter the studio.  My practice is not just on the mat, but what I attempt to carry forward with me each and every day. Some days I am better at this than others. I am only human. Each time on the mat I find my practice to be fresh. My practice not only continues to inform me about me and those around me but inspires me. It is what sustains me through the journey of life’s ever changing circumstances. All that we can control is ourselves and how we respond to life. I am deeply grateful that I have been provided with this opportunity to share with the community something I truly believe benefits all.

My husband and I were both young widows. He had two young children, two boys and I had two young children, a boy and a girl. We have now been married 17+ years. Long story short, we have both spoken many times, over the years, about the most humbling experience of our lives. We were both young widows. Our children were young. What we both experienced and what still brings tears to both of our eyes was the outpouring of love to our families. Not only did we have the love and support of our family and friends, but of strangers who touched our lives through their love and support during our grief.

A question I ask myself periodically is, “Am I living this life well?” We can never repay each and every one of those individuals that touched our lives. Through the years, we have attempted to let no opportunity to do our small part for the community be left undone. It is my hope that through the studio, we can not only improve our health but the community’s health and outreach to one another. This is my chance to thank the human community for the many blessings it has bestowed upon my family and me.
